Tim Jones (DK: $5,300):  One of the most accomplished returning players for Southern Mississippi,  Jones is poised for a breakout season this fall for the Golden Eagles. Coming off a solid 73-902-3 campaign last fall, Jones found his name on the preseason Biletnikoff Award watch list. Throughout practice, quarterback Jack Abraham has gushed about Jones, talking up his improvements and growth as a receiver. He even went as far as to call him his “go-to” target. Abraham’s statement seemed to be proved true at practice, as the duo hooked up for a 99-yard touchdown in a scrimmage. New offensive coordinator Matt Kubik loves Jones versatility, and has been using it to move him all over the formation to get open looks. Jones handled a 24% target share last season, and that number has the opportunity to rise  as Quez Watkins (25%, NFL) and Jaylond Adams (15%, COVID-19 opt-out) will not be on the field this fall. From October onward last year, Jones caught at least 5 passes and had at least 60 yards in every game. He is priced entirely too low on this slate as he projects to be a main piece of an offense with an implied total of 34 points. Lock in Jones at WR for this opening CFB slate!
