Bryant Mitchell (DK: $6,100): Bryant Mitchell has been one of the bright spots in a rough last quarter of the Edmonton Eskimos season. The team lead by reigning league MVP Mike Reilly has begun a slide down the ranks of the Western Division all the way to 4th place with a 7-7 record. They have a chance to right the ship this weekend, however, against the 2nd-ranked Saskatchewan Roughriders who are currently 9-5. Edmonton should look to Mitchell early and often in this one if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive in the West. Mitchell has stepped in nicely for the injured Derel Walker, posting consistent numbers week in and week out for the Eskimos. Catching 6+ passes for 69+ yards in four of his five starts this season, Mitchell has shown a solid floor and a high ceiling which makes him a strong play this week in an important road game. Mitchell is a strong play as is, but a potential boost could arise from the questionable health of Duke Williams. Duke is expected to suit up Monday night, but has missed practice all week and may still be hurting come Monday from the shoulder injury he suffered last Saturday against the Bombers. If he is limited in any way, Mitchell would likely become the WR1 of this already potent offense and offer us tremendous upside at such a cheap price. The Riders D has been solid this season, but currently rank 6th in points allowed (24.5 ppg) and have allowed nearly 250 pass yards per contest. We believe the high-octane Edmonton offense should surpass both of these marks in a must-win game, with Bryant Mitchell a featured part of the game-plan if they hope to stand a chance to bring the W back to Edmonton. Be sure you have him in your lineups as our daily fantasy CFL Must-Have!
