Andrew Harris (DK: $10,300):Our first Must-Have is a familiar face; Andrew Harris of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Harris continues to be a star and has yet to see a price jump that is deserved of his high floor. This weekend, Harris draws a matchup against the Toronto Argonauts in what should make for another stellar fantasy performance. Earlier this season against the same Argos unit, Harris rattled off 116 yards on 14 carries while adding on 5 receptions for 7 receiving yards and a TD. Though it is difficult to repeat success against a familiar opponent in the CFL, the Bombers will be without top wide receiver Darvin Adams which leads us to believe Harris may be thrust into a larger share of touches than his already heavy 15.8 touches per game;  particularly in the passing game. Harris has been a key piece of the Bombers passing attack already this season, hauling in 5+ receptions in 5 of 6 games this year while also finding the end zone three times, and should see an uptick in work for the hobbled Bombers receiving corps this weekend. Andrew Harris is our top overall play on the board in this Week 8 of CFL action and should be locked into all lineups.

B.J. Cunningham (DK: $7,500): Our second Must-Have is the Montreal Alouettes slot back B.J. Cunningham. Cunningham faces off against the Ottawa Redblacks this weekend in what should be the premier game of the weekend for fantasy output. For the Montreal offense, the 8th (of 9) ranked Ottawa defense should stand little resistance to the resurgent Als offense under Vernon Adams Jr. Since his first start in Week 3, Cunningham has hauled in 16 passes (on 20 targets) for 224 yards including a stellar 6-64 performance against this same Ottawa team in Week 5. Though Cunningham has not found the end zone with Adams under the helm, he has regularly been the go-to target down the field averaging 14 YPR in the last three contests. Like we introduced with Harris against Toronto, it is difficult to replicate huge performances against familiar opponents which also might be a boost for Cunningham this weekend. Fellow wide receiver Quan Bray had the big showing against Ottawa in Week 5, hauling in 5 passes for 134 yards and a TD. While this stat line is impressive, we believe many will flock to him just from looking at the game log rather than diving into further research which would reveal that Bray is unlikely to record another line like this. In that Week 5 meeting, Bray hauled in a wide-open 75 yard TD thanks to busted coverage by the Redblacks D. While we can’t hold this against Bray, if we remove that play from his season stats, he has hauled in 17 passes for just 140 yards, just an 8.2 YPC average, which is much more telling of his role on the team as a possession receiver and not the big play guy… the role that belongs to B.J. Mr. Cunningham is the true WR1 in Vegas’ favorite offense this weekend and should be locked into your lineups in what we believe could be his breakout week.
