Nate Lowe (DK: $3,800 FD: $3,000): Nate Lowe comes in with an elite .359 xISO and .441 xwOBA against right-handed arms to open up the season. He will face off against RHP Kenta Maeda, who has allowed almost a .480 wOBA and a poor .269 xISO to left-handed bats so far this season. Maeda throws his four-seam fastball 20% of the time to lefties and allows over a .600 xISO with it, which bodes well for Lowe who has a .369 xISO against fastballs this year and almost a .500 xwOBA. Maeda throws heavy sliders as well, allowing almost a .300 xISO with them, and Lowe has also mashed this pitch (in a smaller sample) so far this season with over a .700 xwOBA. Lowe is too cheap for his matchup and power upside, and we love starting our lines with him tonight.

Teoscar Hernandez (DK: $4,300 FD: $2,700): Teoscar will match up against RHP Frankie Montas tonight, who has struggled against right-handed bats with over a .350 xISO allowed and a .422 xwOBA. He throws his four-seam fastball 25% of the time, which Hernandez has mashed to the tune of a .517 xISO and .487 xwOBA so far in 2021. Montas also throws his sinker 30% of the time to right-handed hitters, which is a pitch that Hernandez mashed in 2020, owning an xISO of .425 and an xwOBA of almost .600 against them. Montas throws his slider 35% of the time to round out his arsenal, which also bodes well for Hernandez who has a very nice .247 xISO against sliders so far in a smaller 2021 sample. This is one of our favorite matchups of the slate tonight, and we believe Teoscar has massive upside to warrant his Must-Have status.
