Brandon Lowe (DK: $4,400 FD: $3,400): Our first Must-Have of the day will be stepping into the box tonight against right-hander Tanner Anderson in Tampa Bay. Anderson is making his major league debut tonight but showcased some worrisome numbers against left-handers this year in the minors. In just over 20 innings pitched against lefties in Triple-A, Anderson sports a .356 average and already allowed 7 home runs against them. This won’t bode well for him against major league left-handers, and especially one as dangerous as Lowe. So far in 2019, Lowe has belted right-handers for a .252 ISO, .890 OPS, .372 wOBA, 9 homers, and over a 44% hard-hit rate. Lowe will also bat in the three-hole tonight so he is in a great spot for RBIs and to be scored by big hitters behind him. The icing on the cake for Lowe is that the Athletics’ bullpen is the worst over the last month thanks to an xFIP at 5.46 to give him big upside all game long. Lock in Lowe at a weaker second-base position across all lineups tonight!

Yoan Moncada (DK: $4,400 FD: $4,000): The White Sox are at home tonight in a matchup against Anibal Sanchez and the Nationals. Left-handers have had plenty of success against Sanchez since he is allowing them to hit him to the tune of a .300 ISO, .391 wOBA, 2.49 HR/9, and a hefty 6.33 FIP. Moncada has been very productive swinging from the left-side of the plate in 2019 thanks to a .279 xISO, .399 xwOBA, 12 homers, a .297 average, and over a 40% hard-hit rate. We can also tell you that Moncada should see a four-seam fastball over 34% of the time and a cut-fastball around 20% of the time from Sanchez. Against four-seamers from righties since 2018, Moncada holds down a .295 xISO and .387 xwOBA, and against cut-fastballs he owns a .234 xISO and .329 xwOBA. The added benefit of Moncada being a switch-hitter also bodes well for him being a Must-Have tonight since he will see a plus matchup splits wise batting from each side of the plate against relievers. We love the upside of Moncada tonight and will be pairing him with Lowe across all formats!
