Luke Voit (DK: $4,400 FD: $4,100): Our first Must-Have of the day is Yankees’ slugger Luke Voit. The Yankees and Voit will see left-hander Jason Vargas in game two of a doubleheader today. Vargas has been good as of late but his xISO still sits above .200 to right-handers to go with a 41% hard-hit rate. We don’t anticipate this finesse lefty to be very deceiving in a pure hitter’s park in Yankee Stadium. Voit has hit left-handers this season to the tune of a .309 xISO and .409 xwOBA. The most impressive thing about this matchup tonight is that Voit has at least a .400 xISO or higher dating back to 2018 against all three of Vargas’ main pitches; the changeup, two-seam fastball, and four-seam fastball. This is most likely why Voit already has a double and two hits in just three plate appearances against Vargas in the past. Look for Voit to take advantage of this matchup as we lock him in across all lineups!

Brian Dozier (DK: $4,000 FD: $2,700): Brian Dozier is our second Must-Have of tonight’s slate as he is facing off against Manny Banuelos and the Chicago White Sox. Dozier has really picked up the pace recently against left-handed pitchers, as he is hitting to the tune of a .444 AVG, 1.463 OPS, .519 ISO, with 270 wRC+ over the last 30 days. His hard-hit rate over the same time span is 55% and he is also posting a 58% fly-ball rate as well. Dozier is absolutely locked in and gets a matchup against Banuelos who does not do particularly well to right-handed bats. Banuelos is allowing 2.8 HR/9, .307 AVG, .982 OPS, and a .405 wOBA. All of Banuelos’ pitches have wOBA’s over .360 and ISO’s over .200. He is just simply not good against righties and faces a red hot Dozier who has been murdering lefties. We like Dozier and his 6th spot in the lineup to rack up some RBI with his teammates getting on base ahead of him!
