DJ LeMahieu (DK: $4,400 FD: $3,300): The Yankees enter today’s contest with a projected team total of 6.5 runs and we expect DJ LeMahieu to be a big part of this production. While all-star John Means will take the mound for the Orioles, he is expected to be limited to 3-4 innings, meaning the Yankees will get to see at least five innings of a bottom-five bullpen in baseball. Now, we mentioned Means was an all-star last season, but this does not mean he wasn’t susceptible to the homerun ball as he allowed a .197 xISO and 50% flyball rate to right-handed bats. At home last season, Means had a 5.43 xFIP to righties allowing a 1.19 HR/9 and 52% flyball rate. LeMahieu comes into this one scorching hot off a 4-5 night with a homer and terrific numbers against lefties with a .445 wOBA and .256 ISO. With a great matchup against Means and at least two at-bats against the Orioles pen, LeMahieu is a lock at his price.

Eddie Rosario (DK: $4,000 FD: $3,100): The Twins may be the hottest team in baseball right now, averaging just over seven runs per game and winners of four out of their first five. On the surface, Shane Bieber seems like a tough matchup but he struggles against lefties which the Twins are loaded with. One of their top lefties is Eddie Rosario who had a fantastic .260 xISO and .330 xwOBA to right-handed pitching last season. Bieber allowed over a .200 xISO to left-handed bats last year which gave him a rough 1.6 HR/9. Rosario has terrific splits against Bieber’s three pitches which shows in his career .353 AVG, 1.271 OPS, and 3 homeruns in 17 appearances against Bieber. Confidently lock in Rosario tonight!
