Gio Urshela (DK: $5,000 FD: $4,400): Our first Must-Have of tonight’s slate is going to be Yankees’ third baseman, Gio Urshela. Urshela will face off against a Baltimore pitching staff that has been completely shredded over the course of the weekend, allowing 30 runs over the last two days, and will have already played a game against the Yankees earlier this afternoon to thin out the bullpen even more. Lefty Ty Blach will start for the O’s tonight and Urshela has very solid numbers against lefties on the season, sporting an ISO of .263, and a wOBA of .375. Blach offers up his sinker over half of the time, with a secondary changeup he throws just under 40 percent of the time. Against the changeup, Urshela holds elite numbers with a .389 ISO and .427 wOBA. As for the sinker, in a very small sample, Urshela holds a solid xISO of .217 and wOBA of .438. We love the upside of Urshela tonight against a depleted Orioles pitching staff, and are locking him in with confidence at third on this slate!

Josh VanMeter (DK: $3,700 FD: $2,600): The Cincinnati Reds are in Washington tonight for a matchup with right-hander Erick Fedde and the Nationals. Josh VanMeter is batting in the four-hole tonight for the Reds and he has plenty of home run and stolen base upside in this matchup. Fedde has allowed left-handed sluggers to clip him to the tune of a .325 average, a .183 xISO, and a .386 xwOBA to go with 9 stolen bases attempted against him. VanMeter has a .299 average against righties with a .901 OPS, .218 ISO, and over a 52% hard-hit rate. We could see a stolen base claimed by VanMeter as well since he has four successful steals in his time at the big league level this year. The icing on the cake in this matchup is that Fedde will showcase left-handers a sinking-fastball nearly 50% of the time and VanMeter holds down a hefty .459 xwOBA against sinkers from righties in 2019. We love the big upside VanMeter presents at very affordable pricing, lock him in across all lineups!
