Manny Machado (DK: $4,600 FDuel: $3,400): Brandon Bielak has pitched very well for the Astros this season as he has yet to be hit for big damage. However, his 5.79 xFIP shows he’s due for regression and oh boy is this a tough matchup for him. Bielak has shown major reverse splits with a .247 xISO and .402 xwOBA, and the Padres are one of the best hitting teams against righties. Manny Machado jumps off the page for us with his .210 xISO and .363 xwOBA against right-handed pitching. Machado now has four straight games with double-digit FPTs as well as six of his last seven games. He is 8 for his last 15 with three extra base hits and 6 RBIs and we expect his hot bat to stay hot tonight. Lock in Machado with confidence!

Ian Happ (DK: $3,300 FDuel: $3,300): Happ is leading off, so expect him to be one of the most popular players on the slate. Even so, you cannot fade him. Happ comes in with a ridiculous .497 wOBA and .440 ISO to right-handed pitching. He will be facing Reynaldo Lopez of the White Sox who, over the past two seasons, has a 5.24 xFIP and has allowed lefties to hit for a .366 wOBA and .203 ISO. This game will be especially tough for Lopez as the hitting conditions in Wrigley are extremely hitter-friendly tonight. Based on 151 games matching tonight’s conditions, there have been a 46% increase in home runs, 26% increase in total runs, and 26% increase in pitcher’s ERA. Research shows Happ has a tremendous floor with terrific upside and we highly recommend you lock him in everywhere!
