For our first Must-Have tonight, we have an egregiously priced Max Kepler. Kepler and the Twins will be taking on Jakob Junis tonight, who was extremely lucky in his first start this season with an xwOBA of .415 to left-handed hitters compared to his actual .260 wOBA. Junis also struggled against lefties last year with a .187 xISO and .361 xwOBA. This price for Kepler would make more sense if he was cold to start the season, but Kepler is red-hot versus righties this season with a 1.263 OPS and .500 ISO through 34 plate appearances. Kepler also had strong success last year against Junis’ main pitch of a 91 MPH four-seamer. Junis threw this pitch nearly 36% of the time last season and against this pitch last season, Kepler owned a .370 xISO and .437 xwOBA. A final piece of added bonus for Kepler is that through 18 at-bats against Junis in his career, Kepler holds down a .419 wOBA and 1.000 OPS. Kepler is a lock-and-load in all formats tonight!

Rafael Devers (DK: $5,100; FD: $3,400):

Our second Must-Have tonight comes from Boston. Rafael Devers and the Red Sox will be taking on Tanner Roark, who had a ton of issues against left-handed hitters last season. He owned a .213 ISO and .370 wOBA against them last year and was even worse in his expected numbers with .225 and .381 respectively. On the other hand, Devers smacked around right-handed pitching last year with a .996 OPS, .278 ISO and .407 wOBA. Devers also smashed Roark’s two main pitches to lefties with ISOs of .231 and .234 and wOBAs of .386 and .397. Devers is our favorite option at third base tonight and want him locked into all of your lineups!
