Daniel Suarez (DK: $7,800 FD: $8,400): It might seem like an obvious play with Suarez starting from the 40th spot this week, but surprisingly people may shy away from our first daily fantasy NASCAR Must-Have of the weekend. He will still be very popular in all formats, but maybe not as much as he should be. Suarez has been dreadful at this track in his first three starts with something going wrong in all three races. With a best finish of 24th, some might look at those numbers and decide to go elsewhere this weekend. However, a few major things play into his favor this weekend outside of his starting spot. First, he benefits from being in some top level equipment that has led to teammate Denny Hamlin sitting on the pole this weekend, and the same equipment that has led to a dominating first half of the season from Kyle Busch. If that isn’t enough, we can take a look at final practice and notice the team fine tuning the car, enabling them to post the fourth-quickest ten-lap average, showing the car has plenty of speed to post not only a top-twenty finish, but possibly even a top ten. Suarez is the sure fire Must-Have of the weekend and one you shouldn’t try to get too cute on this week.

Chase Elliott (DK:$8,900 FD: $10,600): Finally! The kid finally got it done last weekend on the road course and if you ask us, the floodgates are now open for him to rattle off more wins. And there’s no better place to try and go back to back than right here in Michigan. Of the five races here, Elliott owns an average finish of 4.6 with three second place finishes. He will roll off in the 21st starting spot on Sunday, giving him one of the best floors and highest ceilings of anyone in the field. His price on DraftKings was shocking for a guy coming off a win and who has had great success at this track, but we’ll gladly take advantage of that. The Chevrolet camp looks to be making a turn in the right direction led by Chase Elliott, so look for him to make a charge to the front come Sunday afternoon as our second Must-Have.
