Domantas Sabonis (DK: $7,500; FD: $7,700; Y: $28): The first daily fantasy NBA Must-Have we have for tonight’s slate is Pacers’ big man, Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis benefits from a banged up Myles Turner, who is missing his third straight game. In the games without Turner, Sabonis has scored at least 35 DK points while averaging 30 minutes. He has been an FPPM beast this year, scoring 1.35 FPPM with 24.8% usage (+0.8% and +.04 FPPM). Taking over the reigns at center, Sabonis is a lock for minutes in the mid 30’s tonight and in the case of a blowout, he can still see around 27-31 minutes. The Pacers will face a Knicks team that ranks 20th against centers thanks to Luke Kornet and Enes Kanter who own 114 and 112 defensive ratings, respectively. Sabonis should be locked into lineups on all sites tonight.

Donovan Mitchell (DK: $7,900; FD $8,100; Y: $28): Donovan Mitchell comes in as our second Must-Have where he’ll be forced to be the primary ball handler tonight. The Jazz will miss all three of their point guards tonight, leaving Mitchell, Kyle Korver, and Naz Mitrou-Long as the only guards on the roster. Ricky Rubio missed last game and Dante Exum is out for an extended period, so Mitchell was forced into a similar position last game where he went 33/4/7 (51.5 DK points) in 37 minutes. In that game, Raul Neto was available, but tonight he’s out with a groin injury. This makes Mitchell a lock to play around 38 minutes tonight. While it’s uncommon for a team to be without a true point guard, we were able to find a 320 minute sample over the past two seasons without Rubio, Exum, and Neto where Mitchell sees a usage of 34.3% and scores 41.31 DK points per 36 minutes. Mitchell has a favorable matchup tonight, where the Lakers rank 19th against combo guards allowing an average of 52.22 DK points per game this season. In a tough situation for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell should be locked into all lineups. Good luck tonight!
