Patty Mills (FDraft: $7,400 DK: $3,900 FDuel: $4,100): With Lamarcus Aldridge, Rudy Gay, and Tony Parker all ruled out for the San Antonio Spurs, there is plenty of usage and scoring to go around. One of the main beneficiaries of this will be Patty Mills as he will be thrust into more minutes, splitting time with Dejounte Murray. With these players off the court, Mills averages a 20% usage rate and sees the second highest increase in attempted shots per minute on the team. Even with all of these players ruled out, the spread for this game is only +/- 8, so we believe Mills will be able to see the workload needed to rack up Fpts. Mills is priced across the board as if he were still the backup point guard tonight and we plan to take advantage of this.
Montrezl Harrell (FDraft: $7,400 DK: $3,800): Our second Must-Have is also the beneficiary of injuries as the Los Angeles Clippers are just completely decimated, thus forcing Harrell into a starting role. While Harrell did not play many minutes yesterday due to a blowout, Harrell was very efficient in his time on the court, compiling a stat line of 6 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 1 steal. When Harrell is on the court without Griffin, Beverly, Gallinari, and Teodosic, he has been averaging an incredible 1.05 Fpts/min. We believe that Harrell is priced accordingly on FanDuel, but on Fantasy Draft and DraftKings, Harrell is an absolute steal for the production he provides while he is on the court. Harrell will be tasked with guarding Taj Gibson who draws less than a foul per minute, making Harrell an even safer play. We are locking Harrell into our lineups on Fantasy Draft and DraftKings.
Taj Gibson (FDuel: $5,000): Taj Gibson has been a great producer for the Minnesota TimberWolves this season and without Bjelica, he has seen all the minutes he can handle. Gibson has played at least 36 minutes in each of his last six games, as Tom Thibodeau loves to play his starters as long as possible. Gibson was in foul trouble for most of the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder which forced him to play less aggressive. Due to his mediocre production, FanDuel priced him all the way down to $5,000 and he is now an absolute steal. Gibson is averaging 10.7 PPG and 8.1 RPG this season and he finds himself in a terrific production spot as he does not have to deal with Blake Griffin. The Clippers rank eighth worst in defensive efficiency and are allowing the fifth most rebounds over the past month. At his price and guaranteed minutes, we are locking Taj Gibson into our lineups on FanDuel and strongly suggest you do the same.
