Cedi Osman (FDraft: $6,100 DK: $3,000 FDuel: $3,500): Our first Must-Have on this nine game slate could have the opportunity to slide into the starting lineup for the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Yesterday, the Cavaliers hosted a “fire-sale” of their team before the trade deadline, sending off Isaiah Thomas, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Channing Frye, Jae Crowder and Iman Shumpert. The pieces they have received in return for these players are doubtful for tonight’s matchup with the Hawks, giving the Cavaliers available for this one ample upside to crush their price tags. Osman is anticipated to start and should see run into the mid 20s tonight. At minimum pricing, we will be taking Osman’s upside in a matchup against an Atlanta team that is allowing the 6th most fantasy points to opposing small-forwards in the NBA at 38. Osman logged 21 minutes for the Cavaliers last game and should be able to push for even more in a matchup with the Hawks that is anticipated to be very close with a spread of just two points in favor of Cleveland. Osman will be locked into our lineups across all formats and sites tonight.
Zach LaVine (FDraft: $11,700 DK: $6,100): Our next Must-Have has a bit of a narrative going against his old team tonight but is criminally priced over on FantasyDraft and DraftKings. LaVine currently holds down a team-high usage at 34.3% with these starters and will be stepping onto the court tonight in a matchup that is anticipated to score well over 200 total points at 215.5. The Minnesota Timberwolves have also allowed the ninth most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards over their last five games at 45. LaVine should draw the below league average defense of Andrew Wiggins tonight who holds down a negative defensive rating per minute at -1.3. With LaVine already averaging 18 shot attempts per game in the month of February and the soft pricing, we will be locking LaVine into all of our FantasyDraft and DraftKings lineups tonight.
Jeff Green (FDuel: $3,900): Our last Must-Have of the day will also reap the benefits from all of the Cavaliers’ trades. Green was seeing consistent run before the deadline but is now in line for an increased role with a depleted team tonight. Over the last four games, Green had seen at least 20 minutes of run and could push for 30 or more tonight. Green could still come off of the bench tonight, which is fine as he is actually averaging more fantasy points per minute when he isn’t sharing the court with LeBron James. Green provides a safe floor at a very soft price on FanDuel tonight and will be locked into all of our lineups to help pay up for those top studs on this slate. Goodluck and God Bless!
