Elias Lindholm (DK: $6,700 FD: $7,200): Another slate, and another daily fantasy NHL Must-Have from the Calgary Flames. Tonight, the Flames welcome the Colorado Avalanche into Calgary in what should be a high-scoring affair. The Flames are heavy favorites (-190), and with the highest total of the night set for 6.5 goals, we can expect many pucks to find the back of the net in this one. Colorado will play their second game in as many nights after getting torched by the Winnipeg Jets by the score of 7-4. Over the Avalanche’s last five games, they’ve given up an average of 3.8 goals per game, which is among the worst in the league. Calgary comes into this game as one of the most explosive offenses in the league, averaging 3.6 goals per game, good for 3rd in the entire league. The Avalanche are taking the 4th-most penalty minutes per game (9.8), which should bode well for Calgary, who currently convert on 21% of their power plays. Colorado on the other hand, have a rough time killing off their penalties this year, as their 76% penalty kill rate is 6th-worst in the league. Lindholm has six goals on the power play, which is 3rd-most on his team, and his 17 power play points is also ranked 3rd on his team. This is a very favorable matchup on tonight’s small three-game slate, and Lindholm is probably the safest play tonight alongside his linemates Gaudreau and Monahan. Lindholm is the cheapest of the bunch, so make sure he’s the first skater you lock into your lineups tonight.
