David Perron (FantasyDraft: $9,500 DK: $4,600 FanDuel: $5,100): Perron is skating in a favorable position tonight for the NHL’s newest team, the Vegas Golden Knights. The Coyotes allowed the third-most points per game last season, and while they have talented defenders, that ability is still waiting to be manifested into stingy defensive play, as they’ve already allowed an average of 3.50 goals per game this season (11th in the NHL). Perron plays on the top line, earning 19:33 minutes of ice time per game (6th on the team), whereas last season with the Blues he only averaged 17:18 (21st for the Blues) per game. In addition to the uptick in playing time, he’s already shown a higher propensity to shoot the puck, logging five shots per game in each of the young season’s first two contests. For such a low price-tag, and with his team actually favored for the first time this season, Perron is a lock in your lineups with a high chance to return value with possible low ownership as well.

Mika Zibanejad (FantasyDraft: $12,900 DK: $6,200 FanDuel: $6,500): In contrast to Perron and his decent chance of being low-owned, Mika should see higher ownership on tonight’s seven-game slate, but not so inflated that he is worth a fade. His matchup is premier, as the Blues are coming off a game yesterday afternoon against the Islanders. Now they face the tougher offense of the Rangers, which last season posted the fourth-best mark of 3.09 goals per game. Mika has featured prominently for the squad already this year, logging four goals on a team-leading 15 shots. Lock him in at a very reasonable price and consider pairing his linemates together for a Rangers stack against Hutton and the Blues.
