Aleksander Barkov, Jr. (FDraft: $16,200 DK: $7,600 FD: $7,700): The talented center finds himself in an ideal spot tonight as his Florida Panthers host the Ottawa Senators. This game has an over/under of six, and Barkov could be a main factor in that tally given the Senators struggles against opposing centers. The Senators allow an NHL-worst three points per game to opposing centers, while also allowing them to shoot nearly 10.5 times per game. This bodes very well, as the Sens also allow over 33 shots per road game, while also ceding 3.30 goals per road contests. This makes Barkov an excellent choice tonight, and a prime candidate to anchor a cashing lineup. Barkov is excellent at home, scoring more points at home while playing more games on the road. This just increases his upside tonight, so be sure to give him a look.
Evander Kane (FDraft: $13,900 DK: $6,800 FD: $6,500): This was one of the biggest moves of the trade deadline, and tonight it could pay its dividends as the San Jose Sharks play host to the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit allows an average of 3.1 goals per road game while also allowing 33 shots per road contest. This is fantastic for Kane, as the Red Wings allow 2.06 goals to opposing left wingers each game. Furthermore, Kane has a been much better at home this season. He scored .74 points per home game, compared to .61 points per road game. Kane benefits from playing on a strong first line and power play for the Sharks, and should be treated as an excellent option tonight.
