SOC | Must-Haves: EPL | 2/10/18

Kevin De Bruyne (DK: $12,100): Our first Must-Have of the slate is the Belgian international, Kevin De Bruyne. Manchester City are by far the biggest favorites of the slate, making them an ideal team to target when building lineups. Man City should control the match and create plenty of goal scoring of opportunities. De Bruyne has scored one goal and gotten two assists in his last three games and could easily continue that trend against Leicester. He has the third-highest goal scoring odds on the slate and Leicester have lost three of their last five away games making this an ideal matchup. Manchester City will be without the services of David Silva and Sane, meaning De Bruyne will get even more touches on the ball and should be on all set pieces. This boosts Kevin’s overall value because it gives him a safe floor but also raises his chances of assisting a goal off a set piece. Kevin De Bruyne has one of the safest floors on this slate but he also has a high ceiling making him a great play in all formats.

Gerard Deulofeu (DK: $5,800): Watford are coming off a big win against defending EPL champions, Chelsea. West Ham are winless in their last three EPL games and are dealing with injuries to key players. Deulofeu recently joined Watford and has already made a big impact, scoring a goal for his new team. Cleverley is also a doubt to feature in this match which would boost Deulofeu’s value because he would have a role on set pieces. This match has the second-highest total, making it a great match to target. Deulofeu is a very active player and gets involved in the offense constantly. West Ham have allowed a lot of crosses against opposing teams in recent weeks which plays into Deulofeu’s strengths due to his tendency to look to cross and his probable role on set pieces. Deulofeu has a safe floor and could exceed value without contributing to a goal, but also has the ability to score making him a great play in cash games and tournaments
