Toni Kroos (DK: $7,300): The 29-year-old veteran midfielder comes in as our first Must-Have for this Wednesday Champions League slate. Real Madrid comes in as the biggest home favorite on this slate (-526) and although their attack has been inconsistent this year, the one player who’s been consistent is Toni Kroos. Madrid changed their attacking style this year which allows their players to cross the ball into the box to create scoring opportunities. In this style, Kroos thrives as he loves to cross the ball. In UCL play this year, he has averaged over five crosses a match along with almost three shots. Not only does Kroos fill up the offensive stats, but he also fill-ups the defense stats with tackles won (2.67/match) and interceptions (2/match). Toni has a monopoly on all set-pieces and has a floor average of 16.5 DK points. With a team scoring total of 2.5 goals, we expect Toni Kroos to have a big day.

Marko Marin (DK: $6,300): Marko Marin has been a super-consistent midfielder in the Champions League. Marin has a high average floor of 14.3 DK points while averaging 8.33 crosses a match. Like Kroos, Marin also has a monopoly on set-pieces. In his away fixture to Tottenham, Marko was able to produce 15.7 DK points mainly due to his six chances created and seven crosses. FK Crvena Zvezda needs points to stay alive in the champions league group stages, so their attack will be looking to press forward. This pressing attack should lead to Marin getting plenty of set-piece opportunities and crosses. Lock Marko Marin into all your DK lineups.
