Kevin De Bruyne (DK: $7,500): The first Must-Have for the Champions League slate is Kevin De Bruyne, the Belgian midfielder for Manchester City. Manchester City enter as the heaviest favorite on the four match slate with a matchup against Tottenham at Etihad Stadium. Tottenham’s lengthy list of injuries as well as Manchester City’s superb play in all competitions this season puts Manchester City in prime position to win the second leg. Furthermore, Manchester City will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg after an impressive Tottenham performance that nullified much of Manchester City’s attack. As a result, Manchester City will likely make changes in their starting eleven, with a key change being the reintroduction of Kevin De Bruyne into the starting eleven. De Bruyne has been one of Manchester City’s most important players in recent seasons, though injuries have plagued the talented midfielder for much of the season. However, De Bruyne consistently shows just what he is capable of when given the opportunity. Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace saw De Bruyne rack up a pair of assists while sending in six crosses. Manchester City is expected to field an attacking lineup and De Bruyne will likely take advantage of this scenario. The midfielder typically has a monopoly on set pieces when he starts, which adds to De Bruyne’s floor. While the Belgian only has five goals and three assists in all competitions this season, De Bruyne has picked up all of those assists and scored a goal over the last two weeks. The midfielder is entering the match in fine form, and should be locked in lineups as the first Must-Have.

Alex Telles (DK: $4,600): The second Must-Have for the Champions League slate is Alex Telles, the Brazilian defender for Porto. Porto enter the match as home underdogs against Liverpool. The Portuguese club lost the first leg at Anfield 2-0 and have an uphill battle if they hope to progress to the semifinals of the Champions League. Though Porto are trailing on aggregate, the Portuguese club had multiple opportunities to nab an away goal, which ultimately went squandered. Porto will have to be at their best on Wednesday against a torrid Liverpool side that have rallied off seven consecutive victories (all competitions). Nevertheless, Porto responded in resounding fashion over the weekend with a 3-0 victory in which Alex Telles grabbed an assist. Telles typically takes majority of the set pieces for Porto, though Jesus Corona’s output outnumbered the Brazilian defender’s in the first leg. However, that was likely an anomaly as Alex Telles sent in four corners as opposed to a lone corner that Jesus Corona sent in over the weekend. Thus, we feel confident in suggesting that Alex Telles will maintain his role on set pieces in the second leg, which boosts the floor of the defender. With Porto trailing 2-0 on aggregate, the Brazilian defender will likely play further up the pitch and have more opportunities to send in crosses. This mirrors the situation that Porto was in during the Round of 16. After trailing Roma 2-1 in the first leg, Porto played with more attacking tactics that allowed Alex Telles to rack up a whopping 17 crosses en route to 28 points. As a result, we believe that Alex Telles is significantly underpriced and is in prime position to exceed value. Lock in the Brazilian defender as the second Must-Have!
