Robert Skov (DK: $7,500): The first Must-Have for this four-game Bundesliga slate is the Danish winger for Hoffenheim, Robert Skov. Hoffenheim are the second-biggest favorites on the slate, with the second-highest implied goal total. We don’t usually target Skov for this, but he is currently given the second-best odds on the slate to score, understandably after Erling Haaland. What we do usually roster Skov for is his floor, which comes from being Hoffenheim’s primary set piece taker. This helps him average over five crosses per game, and more than that recently. Skov has put up at least seven crosses in five of his last six Bundesliga matches, the one blemish understandably coming against Bayern. His matchup this week is the opposite of playing against Bayern. Paderborn sit dead last in the Bundesliga and concede more than two goals and twenty crosses per game, making this an ideal matchup for Skov. Skov’s combination of floor and upside at his price make him a great play on this slate, and we recommend locking him into your lineups as the first Must-Have.

Christian Gunter (DK: $5,800): The second Must-Have is Christian Gunter, the German wingback for Freiburg. Gunter comes in as our clear top target at the defender position, as one of the few wingbacks that is actually defender-eligible in the Bundesliga. He splits set pieces for Freiburg with Vincenzo Grifo, helping him average over eight crosses per game (the most out of all players on this slate). He also puts up over a shot and two shots assisted per game to bolster his floor and provide some upside. Like Skov, Gunter also has an ideal matchup this week. Freiburg faces a Bremen side that sits firmly in the relegation zone, has allowed the most goals in the Bundesliga this season, and concedes the most crosses in the Bundesliga at over twenty-three per game. Freiburg have the second-best clean sheet odds on the slate in the game with the lowest goal total, so a three-point bonus isn’t out of the question. For these reasons, we recommend locking Gunter in as the second Must-Have of the slate.
