Dani Carvajal (DK: $5,000): The Must-Have for today’s UCL slate is Dani Carvajal. The Real Madrid right back has two games under his belt after a two-month injury, including one start against Real Betis on Saturday. He contributed six crosses, created one chance, and put forth a generally competent, fit display. He was subbed off after 68 minutes, assumingly to keep fresh legs for a start today against Chelsea. If he does indeed start, at a price of just $5,000, Carvajal is the glue that will allow other expensive GPP players to exist in the same lineup. He will probably not be the player you captain, but he could likely offer some decent cash value on an unpredictable slate. He gets forward with energy, contributes to the attack, and pops up with the occasional goal. However, his value lies in his price, which looks like it will create space for more expensive plays up the pitch.
