NASCAR Must-haves are our most highly recommended players for any given slate. Our experts select these picks above the rest and have determined they are most likely to reach or exceed value. These are the foundational players that we advise building your lineups around.
Clint Bowyer (DK: $8,800 FD: $10,500): This weekend, NASCAR heads to Dover to take on the Monster Mile on Sunday afternoon. This track has a history of being a very demanding, not only for the cars, but also for the drivers and crews as well. To have success here, drivers will need a solid balance for their car and be patient during this long race. One of the best this season at both of those is none other than Clint Bowyer. Bowyer, after a mediocre season last year, is enjoying a rejuvenated season that has already produced a win and... Read More
Kevin Harvick (DK: $11,500): Coming into this week, anyone could make a decent argument to why fading Harvick at this price tag at Bristol would make sense. However, after the first practice that option went out of the window since Harvick will have to start in the rear of the field on Sunday afternoon after the crash in the first practice. Bristol is one track where we really need to focus on two main things when building lineups, dominator points and safe floors for each driver. Harvick carries both this weekend, even though it seems far fetched that he’ll end... Read More
NASCAR takes on the short paperclip this week at Martinsville. This track produces some of the best racing on the circuit as it keeps all the cars bunched up throughout the field. This produces close racing, but also causes a lot of beating and banging between cars, which could cause trouble for some. Track position is a major factor during this race as it is very difficult to make a lot of passes during a run. This week didn’t get any easier as mother nature had her hand in things as the track saw a ton of snow Saturday afternoon.... Read More
As NASCAR hits the last leg of their west coast swing, the field is hoping to derail Kevin Harvick and his domination of the series over the last three weeks. While four wins in a row seems far-fetched in NASCAR’s top-level series, it is no surprise he is the odds-on favorite heading into California. This week, many teams failed to make a qualifying run, forcing some notable names starting in the rear, which will lead to some inflated ownership. Finding the right core and high priced driver will be the winning combination this week in California. Jimmie Johnson (DK: $9,000):... Read More
Phoenix is one of the flatter tracks on the NASCAR circuit, producing great racing throughout the field. Phoenix has a lot of the same characteristics as New Hampshire as they both have long sweeping turns that really challenge drivers on both ends of the track. Being a short track, we’re looking for two to three dominators this weekend. We usually see multiple leaders in this race, but a majority of the dominators come from starting inside the top ten. Finding the right one or two guys to pair with our Must-Have will be the way to go for Sunday afternoon.... Read More
